Ligue 2. Les notes de Rodez - Bordeaux (0-3) : Bakwa, Ekomié et Fransergio au rendez-vous

Gaetan Poussin 5/10

Several good starts on enemy long balls, a stop on a long shot by Boissier (19th). Keep in mind a slightly tricky revival, though…

Gaetan Poussin 5/10

Several good starts on enemy long balls, a stop on a long shot by Boissier (19th). Note, on the other hand, a somewhat delicate recovery during a quiet first period, always focused on the second, less easy for Bordeaux.

Malcolm Bokele 4/10

Often hit in the back early in the meeting, with Logan Delaurier-Chaubet, by Abdallah’s quick climbs. There was no better then but a big mess, even with “LDC”, and he offered Rodez a goal ball at the end of the first half. More consistent then.

Stian Gregersen 3/10

Nothing very reassuring, in the rhythm, the duels, the reminders. Any desire to play that isn’t flat and indented produces boiling balls. Warning for a serious foul midway through the second half.

Junior Mwanga 5/10

No frills but solid and clean, as his position demands, and he did not fail, like many, the raises around the 20th minute, when Bordeaux, very happy to lead 2-0, released his technical requirement. Goal opportunity, header, in the second half, poorly framed.

Jacques Ekomie6/10

Rodez didn’t attack much on his side, that’s for sure, but he was impeccable in duels, tough, never giving up. From the end of the first half he took advantage of the numerical superiority to climb more and more, but without turning on. Always solid at the back, in particular with a good intervention on the surface on Savignac in a goal ball (80th). Touched and replaced by Depussay (90+1).

Danylo Ignatenko 5/10

To his credit, the first goal, which he brought with a nice uncheck towards Bakwa, whose center returned the opposing goalkeeper to the feet of the Ukrainian. He nearly doubled in the same circumstances (22nd). There were also weaknesses, many lost balls in the danger zone, nervousness, but in a jiffy a precise and useful long game. Very spotty. Replaced by Onana (72nd).

Francis 6/10

To check with more physical pressure and rhythm, but in the leaky midfield of Rodez, he was able to slip in, especially to serve Bakwa in the 2nd goal. Interesting long game, and again Bakwa, Delaurier too, for failed actions this time. Two or three bullet losses too…

Tom Lacoux 4/10

A good start to the match where he was one of the few to set the pace and find vertical passes. Later he was more feverish, partly because he had to take the loss of balls ahead, but too quickly he began to multiply the errors without Rodez being able to exploit the gifts. Replaced by sissoko (78).

Dilane Bakwa 6/10

The man of the match, of course. Inseparable from Sékou Mara last year off the pitch, here he is in the front row. Well served by Ignatenko on the first goal, he didn’t control the opening by maintaining speed, but instead executed his team from a standing dribble for a decisive cross. A typical action he repeated several times on his left side, a little less when he switched sides.

He perfectly converted Fransergio’s caviar for the second goal but wasted two more in the first half. His swinging and dribbling wore Bardy down and were largely responsible for Rodézien’s two yellow card dismissal.

Always active and solid in a less good 2nd half for his team, in particular this shot deflected by the Rodez goalkeeper (82). Replaced by marvin of lime (90+1), who at the age of 18 scored his first professional goal with his first ball, because he was hungrier than all the other players involved in a mess on the line.

Josh Maja 3/10

Oh yes, he lands a good heel kick for Fransergio for the second goal. Other than that, he was heavy and unconcerned, while there was plenty to amuse himself in the middle of an opposing central defense that was neither very quick nor composed. Replaced by Orou (90+5).

Logan Delaurier-Chaubet 4/10
