Mercato OM: Is a top Serie A club stepping up to recruit Milik?
To compensate for the departure of Álvaro Morata to Atlético de Madrid, Juventus would be looking at Arkadiusz Milik again. Pablo Longoria could agree to let his Polish striker go in exchange for good compensation.
With the probable arrival of Alexis Sánchez, the Olympic board seeks to rescue the club’s coffers. Pablo Longoria still expects several sales before the transfer window ends. A year and a half after his arrival in Marseille, Arkadiusz Milik was able to pack his bags. Considered non-essential by his new coach, the Pole would be tracked down again by Juventus in Turin. According to the Italian media outlet Calciomercato, the Turin club would have checked Milik’s name in their pre-selection to replace Álvaro Morata, who returned to Atlético. The former Neapolitan already knows the Italian championship and could be seduced by a return to Serie A. The Bianconeri leaders could make him an offer in the coming days. Pablo Longoria could let his international forward escape in exchange for a good offer.

Does Milik not want to relive a season on the bench?
Starter during the first day of the Championship against Reims on Sunday, Arkadiusz Milik had reaffirmed this summer his desire to continue the adventure in Marseille. However, he wouldn’t want to relive a season on the sidelines. With the arrival of Luis Suárez and the probable arrival of Alexis Sánchez, the Polish striker could review his future plans.

“I would like to stay. With OM, we still have a lot to offer each other. I’m at an interesting point in my career, experienced on the one hand, but still relatively young and developing. Looking at Karim Benzema, who is more than six years older, I can be optimistic.” Arkadiusz Milik Sources: Provence (08/06/2022)
Mercato OM: Newcastle rush to Bamba Dieng
Eager to strengthen themselves at the front of the attack, Newcastle would absolutely recruit Bemba Dieng. The Senegalese international would be the priority track for the Magpies along with Lyonnais Lucas Paquetá.
According to information from 90 min, Newcastle, which has passed the Saudi flag and benefits from colossal new media, would be willing to splurge to sign Marseille Bemba Dieng and Lyonnais Lucas Paquetá. After having signed Bruno Guimares at Lyon and Sven Botman at Lille, the English formation would like to continue with its market in Ligue 1. Revealed last season by Jorge Sampaoli, Bemba Dieng was left aside by Igor Tudor who does not have him for the next season. Newcastle had already expressed interest in the 22-year-old striker last winter without making a concrete offer. The outlet indicates that Bemba Dieng’s agent is currently discussing with Marseille leaders to facilitate the transfer of the Senegalese to the Premier League. The 22-year-old is also said to be on the books of other Premier League teams. Everton and Leeds have already shown interest in signing the Senegalese international.

Newcastle, unsurprisingly, have a rival interest in both, and as we’ve already seen this summer, they won’t pay more than they think a player is worth.

Today he is the player who could contribute the most to this team
Our consultant Jean-Charles De Bono returned last week for FCM on the situation that Bemba Dieng is going through at OM. According to the former OM player, a transfer is not ruled out as long as the Senegalese plays so that he continues to revalue himself. He also believes that Dieng is currently one of the biggest players in the Marseille squad.
“Tudor is looking for players who can play in his system and the only one who really fits is Bemba. He is a deep player who dribbles a lot, who provokes the ball in the foot and who calls a lot. Despite all this, he refuses to use it. I don’t care if the club wants to sell him. All last season I said that Bemba was a diamond in the rough, that he had to be trained, supported. It could be a real added value for the club. Today he is the player who could contribute the most to this team. I can understand that the club needs cash, that it needs to sell players. what I don’t understand, however, is why not play it. A player like him, if he plays, it will inevitably increase his value. If Bemba had more playing time and turned out to be a good player, the added value would surely increase. He needs to be highlighted. He is your player. I even think he is the ideal player for OM today. Certainly, it is not by letting him out that you are going to make money. I think he is right in wanting to go to wrestling and wanting to stay in the club. » Jean-Charles DeBono – Source: Marseille Football Club (01/08/2022)
Mercato OM: A big step forward for Sánchez!
Before being able to commit to Olympique de Marseille, Chilean striker Alexis Sánchez first had to terminate his contract with Inter. It is done!
As mentioned in recent days, Alexis Sánchez could well be Olympique de Marseille’s next signing. The Chilean international was never so close to signing for OM. He first had to reach an agreement with Inter to amicably terminate his last year of contract. Now it’s done. Precisely the Italian club formalized yesterday the breach of contract with the former Arsenal striker.
“The club would like to thank Alexis for his three seasons with the Nerazzurri, punctuated by three trophies, and wish him the best for the rest of his career,” the statement added. Inter would have agreed to pay him compensation of around 5 million euros for completing this early dismissal.
Therefore, the way is clear for Pablo Longoria who now hopes to finalize the arrival of Alexis Sánchez in the next few hours.

For Nabil Djelli Alexis Sánchez will not be enough for Olympique de Marseille
On the L’Equipe channel, the debate revolved around the added value of Alexis Sánchez in the Olympique de Marseille squad. According to journalist Nabil Djellit, his arrival does not solve all the problems Marseilles face, even on the ground.
“Alexis Sánchez, he is a great player, no problem, but the providential man, that will not be enough for Olympique de Marseille. We are going too far. There is currently fire with the coach with in particular a XXL distrust on the part of the executives of him. You talked about friendly matches, it was a disaster. His victory is against Marignane Gignac, he remembers. On Sunday they were overtaken by AC Milan, the entire defense was renewed… We saw him in great trouble. Alexis Sánchez, he doesn’t play as a winger, he doesn’t play as a centre-back… he won’t be able to solve everything! He must be the icing on the cake but the cake is on the icing because no one is going to eat it. » nabil djellit – Source: La Chaine L’Equipe (01/08/22)
