cheaper fuels

This discount will remain in effect until October 30 before being reduced to 10 cents during the last two months of 2022.

Real estate: Lemoine law generalized to all borrowers

This is one of the effects of the bioethics law of August 2, 2022. According to Public Service, as of September 1 the anonymity of gamete donors will be lifted for most children born from assisted reproduction.

Those who wish to donate semen or eggs must agree to provide the following information: surname, first name, date of birth, age and family situation at the time of donation, family situation, physical characteristics and motivations for donation. These can be disclosed to children born from these donations as adults if they request it.

Those who have donated before September 1, 2022 will be able to provide this information retroactively if they wish, but will not be subject to any obligation.

Revaluations of 4% effective

Back to school bonus paid

10.8 million low-income households should receive the back-to-school bonus, voted as part of the purchasing power bill package. No action is required to benefit from it. If it is not necessary to have children to be entitled to payment of 100 euros, this premium is increased by 50 euros per dependent child.

The beneficiaries of social minimums and scholarship students will receive it from September 15. Those who are entitled to the activity bonus will receive it in the fall.

University scholarships: application opening

Cumulative to the back-to-school bonus, the scholarships are also awarded to the families of high school students subject to means verification. The objective, according to Public Service, is to reduce “canteen costs or expenses related to the purchase of school supplies or textbooks.”

They are paid three times a year, at the end of each term of the school year. Greater aid may be granted to interns.
